Resume Bullet Proof: Make One Weak Bullet Stronger
Before rewriting your whole resume, fix one bullet so it shows real proof, clear action, and honest context.

Quick win: Improve one bullet today. If it becomes easier to explain out loud, it is already better.
Start with the weak bullet
- Pick one bullet that sounds like a duty instead of a contribution.
- Look for vague phrases like “responsible for,” “assisted with,” or “handled.”
- Do not ask AI to make it impressive yet. Ask it to find the missing proof.
Use the proof-first prompt
- Prompt: “Review this resume bullet. What specific outcome, metric, scope, tool, customer type, frequency, or context would make it stronger? Do not invent details. Ask me questions before rewriting.”
- Answer only with facts you can explain in an interview.
- If you do not have a number, use honest context: team size, customer type, process, tool, volume, or frequency.
Rewrite with structure
- Action: what you did.
- Context: where, for whom, with what tool/process.
- Result or purpose: what changed, improved, got completed, or became easier.
